Common Questions on Earthing & LPS

Clear answers regarding standards compliance, soil treatment, and maintenance.

As per IS:3043 and CEA guidelines, the earth resistance for generating stations & large substations should not exceed 0.5 to 1.0 Ohm. For industrial installations and commercial buildings, it should be less than 1.0 to 2.0 Ohms. For telecommunications and data centers, values below 1.0 Ohm are recommended.
